Overview

The core and specialist skills you spec into have a profound impact on your proficiency at certain playstyles and objectives. It's important to spec into the right skills for the task and regularly re-spec when you need to with the skill reset items from the alliance store.

01/ Core PvP Skills

Prioritise the following core skills in this order:

Max Infantry Armour I and II
Max Infantry Health I and II
Max Air Support Damage III, II, and I
Max Air Support Armour I and II
Max Air Support Health I and II
Max Vehicle Damage III, II, and I
Max Vehicle Armour I and II
Max Vehicle Health I and II

The following skills are optional but recommended. Prioritise them in this order:

Max March Speed I
Max Rally Speed I
Max Scouting Speed I
Max Infantry Damage III, II, and I

March Speed I, Rally Speed I, and Scouting Speed I are optional but worth it if you have the spare skill points. Infantry damage can be ignored entirely in order to mislead enemy scout reports.

Specialist Skills: March Capacity, Rally Capacity, Strategic Healing, March Contest Bonus.

Spec into these skills for all PvP combat activities, including territory.

02/ Core Raid Skills

Prioritise the following core skills in this order:

Max Air Support Damage III, II, and I
Max March Speed I
Max Rally Speed I

The following skills are optional if you would prefer to raid with anti-air vehicles. Prioritise them in this order:

Max Vehicle Damage III, II, and I

Spec into these skills whenever you want to raid.

03/ Core Resource Skills

Prioritise the following core skills in this order:

Max Gathering Speed I and II
Max Metal Production I, II, and III
Max Wood Production I, II, and III
Max Food Production I, II, and III
Max Energy Production I, II, and III
Max Tech Production I, II, III

Resource Productions skills aren't necessary, but they help you build up your resources faster than gathering alone. Max each resource production tier before moving onto the next tier.

Specialist Skills: March Load, March Trade Tax.

Spec into these skills whenever you're farming resources and gathering.

04/ Core Research Skills

Prioritise the following core skills in this order:

Max Research I and II

These are good supplementary skills to combine with other skill sets (PvP or Resource), so you can work on your research whilst doing other activities.

Spec into these skills before starting any new research.

05/ Core Construction Skills

Prioritise the following core skills in this order:

Max Construction I and II

These are good supplementary skills to combine with other skill sets (PvP or Resource), so you can work on upgrading your buildings whilst doing other activities.

Spec into these skills before starting any new building upgrade.

06/ Core Troop Training Skills

Prioritise the following core skills in this order:

Max Vehicle Training Speed I and II
Max Air Support Training Speed I and II
Max Infantry Training Speed I and II

These are good supplementary skills to combine with other skill sets (PvP or Resource), so you can work on growing your army whilst doing other activities.

Spec into these skills whenever there is a troop training event to produce as many troops as you can.

TL;DR Cheat Sheet

Fighting or capturing territory? Core PvP Skills.

Raiding? Core Raid Skills.

Gathering resources? Core Resource Skills.

Conducting research? Core Research Skills.

Upgrading buildings? Core Construction Skills.

Producing troops? Core Troop Training Skills.

Spare skill points? Combine skill sets together.

Remember: Re-spec with skill reset items from the alliance store as needed.

As you level up, you'll unlock more skill points you can invest, which will reduce how frequently you need to re-spec your skills for different activities. If you have enough skill points, it's worth combining skill specs together.
