Overview

We have eight tried-and-tested go-to equipment loadouts to cover every play style. Find the ones that fit how you want to play and contribute to the alliance, and focus on upgrading those components first.

01/ The Modular Combat Set

Your superhero suit. You move faster, hit harder, and bring more troops. Adaptable with powerful hot-swap modules to fine-tune it for the task at hand.

// The Core Combat Set

Combat set core variant layout Combat Processor, Combat Mainframe, Combat Memory Bank, Combat Generator, Combat Comm Unit, and Combat Mod Station.

// The Combat Bonus Variant

Combat set combat variant layout Hot-swap: Combat Mod Station for Pioneer Mod Station.

// The Too Speedy Variant

Combat set too speedy variant layout Hot-swap: Combat Processor for Researcher Processor.

// The Rally Initiation Variant

Combat set rally initiation variant layout Hot-swap: Combat Memory Bank for Pioneer Memory Bank.

What it boosts: deployment combat bonus, air support damage, march capacity, march speed, and scout speed. The Combat Bonus Variant maximises deployment combat bonus, the Too Speedy Variant maximises march speed, and the Rally Initiation Variant increases max rally capacity.

Use the Core Combat Set when: joining a PvP rally, or pushing boss damage in a swarm event.

Use the Combat Bonus Variant when: you're going on offence in PvP, or capturing territory.

Use the Too Speedy Variant when: farming targets in swarm, rescue, and lair events where speed is more important than raw damage, or you need the fastest possible raid rallies.

Use the Rally Initiation Variant only when: you're initiating a large PvP rally and would benefit from the additional troop capacity. Always swap to the Combat Bonus Variant before deploying.

Why: more troops + more damage + more speed = stronger hits against enemies and faster marches.

Optimal Hot-swapping: Initiate rallies using the Rally Initiation Variant, join them using the Core Combat Set, Deploy them using the Too Speedy Variant, then swap to the Combat Bonus Variant before impact. For solo hits, deploy using the Core Combat Set, then swap to the Combat Bonus Variant before impact. For the fastest deployments, use the Too Speedy Variant.

Overwhelmed? Live in the Combat Bonus Variant. Swap to the Too Speedy Variant when speed matters more.

Avoid when: you're being attacked ; swap to Kaiju Defence.

02/ The Kaiju Defence Set

Your shield and armour. It makes your outpost and troops tougher against attack and allows them to hit back hard. It also helps you recover faster if you take a hit.

Kaiju defence set layout Survivalist Processor, Pioneer Mainframe, Pioneer Memory Bank, Combat Generator, Combat Comm Unit, and Researcher Mod Station.

What it boosts: top-tier defensive buffs (improving armoured infantry armour and troop health), aircraft damage, vehicle damage, and vehicle hospital speed.

Use when: you are being attacked, you're trying to trap your opponent, you're doing raids and might be targeted, are shielded, ghosting your outpost, or logging off.

Why: better tanking + faster healing keeps you alive and ready to counter.

Modularity: Swap the Pioneer Memory Bank out for the Survivalist one if you have a lot of defences or for the Supercharged one if you have a lot of Striker Infantry.

Must-use: if you're intentionally baiting attacks.

03/ The Research Set

Your everyday clothes. It helps you gather stuff faster, march a bit quicker, and finish research sooner. It also provides a small defensive safety net if someone pokes you.

Research set layout Researcher Processor, Researcher Mainframe, Researcher Memory Bank, Researcher Generator, Researcher Comm Unit, and Researcher Mod Station.

What it boosts: research speed, gather speed, march speed, and debuffs the damage you take from attacks on your outpost.

Use when: you're farming resources, starting new research and upgrades.

Why: more resources + faster research = faster growth and bigger contributions to the alliance bank.

Avoid when: you're about to fight or are vulnerable to attack; swap to Combat or Kaiju Defence.

04/ The Troop Production Set

Your printing machine. It maximises the amount of troops you can produce and significantly decreases their production speed. It allows you to produce more troops faster.

Troop Production set layout Pioneer Processor, Pioneer Mainframe, Pioneer Memory Bank, Pioneer Generator, Pioneer Comm Unit, and Pioneer Mod Station.

What it boosts: Troop Production speed, troop production capacity, and production effiency for T5 bombers and vehicles.

Use when: you're printing troops.

Why: more troops produced faster = a stronger, maintained army.

Avoid when: you're not starting new troop production.

Modularity: Swap the Pioneer Processor out for the Combat one when printing aircraft. Swap the Pioneer Mod Station out for the Supercharged one when printing vehicles.

05/ The Territory Set

Your capturing cap. It reduces the time it takes you to capture territory tiles. Necessary for expanding and maintaining territory as fast as possible.

Territory set layout Supercharged Processor, Supercharged Mainframe, Supercharged Memory Bank, Supercharged Generator, Supercharged Comm Unit, and Supercharged Mod Station.

What it boosts: maximum territory capture speed.

Use when: sending territory capture deployments and capturing tiles as quickly as possible is more important than march capacity.

Why: faster territory captures = faster progress towards territory events and objectives.

Avoid when: you're not capturing territory or need the strongest march; swap to Combat.

06/ The Gather Set

Your shopping bag. It reduces the amount of infantry required to clear a resource tile. It allows you to gather more resources using fewer infantry troops.

Gather set layout Researcher Processor, Combat Mainframe, Combat Memory Bank, Survivalist Generator, Supercharged Comm Unit, and Combat Mod Station.

What it boosts: how many resources each infantry troop can gather from a resource tile.

Use when: you're farming resources and your army size limits how many resource tiles you can clear simultaneously.

Why: more resources gathered = faster growth and bigger contributions to the alliance bank.

Avoid when: you're not limited by your army size and want a faster gather speed; swap to Research.

Important!: When you gather using this set, you must not swap any of your equipment until your gathers are complete; else, your troops will return without fully clearing the resource tile.

07/ The Chaser Set

Your mission kit. It helps only in the Chaser campaign, so keep it just for that.

Chaser set layout Prototype Processor, Researcher Mainframe, Researcher Memory Bank, Pioneer Generator, Researcher Comm Unit, and Survivalist Mod Station.

What it boosts: chaser-specific campaign stats.

Use when: you're doing Chaser campaign missions.

Why: buffed chasers = significantly easier campaign mission completions.

Avoid when: you're not doing Chaser campaign missions.

08/ The Monster Set

Your hunting gear. It helps only in the Monster campaign, so keep it just for that.

Monster set layout Supercharged Processor, Prototype Mainframe, Researcher Memory Bank, Supercharged Generator, Researcher Comm Unit, and Combat Mod Station.

What it boosts: monster-specific campaign stats.

Use when: you're doing Monster campaign missions.

Why: buffed monsters = significantly easier campaign mission completions.

Avoid when: you're not doing Monster campaign missions.

Loadout Tips

You can only save 5 equipment loadouts. We recommend saving the Kaiju Defence Set as well as your most commonly used combat variants for efficient swapping.

Upgrade components are best earned through taking part in PvE raids, requesting them from alliance members, and completing campaign missions.

If you're not sure which set to prioritise first, go in the order they are listed here. You'll have them all fully upgraded eventually.
